Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EMAN EMAN application and website (the "Service"), operated as an individual undertaking. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the Service

EMAN EMAN connects buyers with merchants selling surplus food at a reduced price, and provides information on scholarships, internships, and job opportunities. EMAN EMAN acts as a platform facilitating these connections and is not the seller of the food items listed by merchants.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
• One person may hold at most one User account and one Merchant account per device role

3. Orders & Payment

• Prices and stock shown are set by merchants and may change without notice
• Orders must be picked up within the time window shown at checkout; unclaimed orders will expire and the pickup code becomes invalid
• Payment may be made via Cash on Delivery (pay at pickup) or GoPay/QRIS through our payment partner, Midtrans
• EMAN EMAN charges merchants a commission on completed transactions, calculated as described to each merchant separately
• Refunds for failed or disputed transactions are handled case-by-case; contact us for assistance

4. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are solely responsible for the quality, safety, accuracy of description, and legality of the food items they list. EMAN EMAN does not inspect, prepare, or guarantee the condition of any food sold through the platform.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to: provide false information; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; harass or abuse other users or merchants via chat or voice call; attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Service.

6. Reviews & Ratings

Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or unrelated to an actual transaction.

7. Consultation Feature

The career/scholarship consultation feature connects you with a consultant via WhatsApp outside the App. EMAN EMAN facilitates this introduction but is not a party to, and assumes no liability for, the advice given during such consultations.

8. Intellectual Property

The EMAN EMAN name, logo, and application design are owned by us. Content submitted by users and merchants (photos, descriptions, reviews) remains owned by the submitter, who grants EMAN EMAN a license to display it within the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMAN EMAN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to issues with food quality, missed pickups, or third-party service interruptions (payment gateway, voice call provider, push notification service).

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the "Delete Account" menu. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
